Selection
tutorials are a great way to make
some fantastic creations. There are
many such tutorials to be found on
the net.
We have written a
very BASIC tutorial in order
for you to learn how they work.
Below is what we
will be making

There are a couple of ways to use
Selection tutorials in psp 7 but I
have found this method to be the
most successful.
The
1st thing you need to do is to make
a new folder with the name of your
selections (this one will be
"unicorn")
I
have found the easiest way is to
make the folder on your Desktop
(this is the screen that appears
with your icons on when you 1st Boot
up)
Right click in a space anywhere on
the Desktop and select NEW -
FOLDER

Name the folder
Now click on the Zip containing the
selections
this screen should open

Select OPEN
This is what you should have now

Click ACTIONS at the top and then
SELECT ALL
Again at the top select EXTRACT

Where it says "extract to" in the
box at the top browse to your
Desktop and then the folder you
made, click on the folder you made
to open it. Again click EXTRACT in the box
on the top right.

Your selections should now be in
your folder. You won't see them in
their proper form yet.
Now
we will begin the tutorial.
Open a new canvas 400x 400

(when doing a selection tutorial the
canvas size given must be exact or
your selections will not be placed
properly)
GO
to LAYERS - NEW RASTER LAYER and
name it MAINBODY

Now
go to SELECTIONS - LOAD FROM DISC

Look for the selection with the name
Mainbody.sel

Select OPEN
This is how your canvas should look
now

Go
to your Foreground Box
on your
colour palette and click inside it
to open this menu

Delete the colour in the HTML code
box and type or paste #05C9C7
Select the FLOOD FILL TOOL

Floodfill your selection
