This is what we'll be making

Open a new image in PSP
Size 400x400
Black background

Click in the middle of the Stroke Box and keep
the mouse pressed
When the window opens click on Solid Colour
(paintbrush)

Click once in the middle of the Stroke Box
again
When the new window opens change the RGB
Values....
Red = 165, Green = 5
and Blue = 118

This a guide only, you can of course choose any colour you like!
Click on the Airbrush tool

and use the following settings

Draw a horizontal line and vertical line in the middle of the canvas
then draw diagonal lines to make an X

Don't worry about getting the lines perfect because we're going to be
changing them with some effects.
Now go to Effects > Reflection
effects > Feedback and use the
following settings

Your canvas will now look like this

Now go to Effects > Artistic Effects > Glowing Edges
and use the following settings

Go to Effects > Geometric Effects > Twirl and
use the following settings

You will now have this

Now go to Effects > Texture Effects > Mosaic Antique
and use these settings

OK, the effects are now done. Time to use our sequins!
Click on the Selection tool and select a part
of your image

Click on the Copy icon then click on the
Paste As New Image icon

You will now have this

Now we're going to use the sequins to flood fill our text
Open a new canvas big enough to fit your text, transparent background
this time
Click on the Text tool then click on the
canvas
Choose a wide font and use the following settings

Click ok
Move the text into position on the canvas and leave the marching ants
around it
Click in the middle of the Stroke box and hold
the mouse button until the new window opens.
Choose Pattern then click in the middle of the
Stroke Box again.
When the new window opens load the sequin fill into the patterns box

Now click on the flood fill tool and flood fill the text

Go to Selections > Select None then click on
the Copy icon
Open Animation Shop
Click on the Paste As New Animation icon
Now the text will appear in animation shop and it will already be
cropped so that saves us a job!

Now go to Effects > Insert Image Effect and
choose Rotate Colours.
Use the following settings

Click OK
Now you will have 10 frames
Go to Edit > Select All then
Animation > Frame Properties and set the
display time properties.
I used 10 in the one above
I wanted this one to be slower so I used 40

All that's left to do now is to save your animation!
Well Done!
